Story of a lost journalist

Rappy New Year :-)

Filed under: Personal — Cris @ 22:33

I don’t believe in New Year resolutions and usually I come up with the “I will try be a good human being every hour of the day” lines. This time I am going to try one thing – besides the Good Samaritan one. Yes just one. And if that works out, I will add more to the list.

The one thing – is vegetarianism. I know I know I have fought for the justice of non-vegetarianism before. But this is something I just want to do, or try, its not because I think non-vegetarianism is anything bad. And my reasoning is mostly selfish. One, I wanna lose some kgs. Two I am a little fed up of chicken, and Three – anyway I eat only chicken so I just have to stop that. And a fourth most motivating one – a movie scene in which a goat losing its head was shown on screen (which I willingly missed but still got the idea)…

So I am not planning for a forever deal. I can break it when I want to. But just to test my will power I plan to go on for a month, and if it works out I will add more to my list.

Done-o. More shall be talked about next month. Till then, Rappyyy New Year folks!!!

  2. Way to go, sis! 🙂

    I somehow have a feeling that this resolution is going to work out. But after all that prescient debate between vegetarianism and non-vegetarianism, I never thought you’d change sides SO soon! 😀

    I haven’t made any PARTICULAR resolution this time. Just one to start working hard. And to blog more often! 🙂

    Btw, Happy New Year, chechi! Wish you a prosperous year ahead!! And hope to see more meaningful posts here. 😀

  3. ha ha welcome aboard dear 🙂 If you can resist it for the first few months it’ll be easy.. You won’t even feel like eating it after that 😉 Though I don’t liked other non-veg food, I used to have prawns before. Then one day decided to stop that too.. Think it’s more than 10 years now..

  4. “And some people (Ros and VK, skip this part if you are reading) do not eat chicken, but eat their babies – the eggs.”

    “mode==skip” extended to this post;

    @Hari, hehe I am not switching cause I think n-v is bad. This is just to be sure I can do it if I want to.

  8. My will power has always been under test when it comes to Liquor and smoking, almost all the people in my closest circle have the habit of both, but never ever even felt like tasting both. A word Given to my Mother at teen age . Even at Russia in the Coldest weather of 7° I opted out from drinking.More than Will Power it is my love to my mother..:0
