Secret Worlds

Filed under: Just talking — Cris @ 22:31

There is a huge hidden world I know. It has got many kinds of living beings and many kinds of food. Water too. Heck even coffee and tea!
Now this world is covered by a whole lot of black buttons that stay on top of it like a big blocking wall. One day if all these buttons wore away, this hidden world would expose itself and there will be a lot of treasures uncovered too, long forgotten and long rusted! Yes Ladies and Gentlemen, I am talking about my keyboard and the world buried under the keys.

I have had a few insects stuck inside. I remember the first I saw one go in, I wondered if it would affect the keyboard. I told an online friend and he said
“Don’t worry he will be alright”
“The insect. He will be fine”

After that however, I didn’t worry about my inhabited keyboard underground world cause if I did, I will have to worry every hour of everyday. My Mom brings food and uses my keyboard neighborhood like a dining table. And I though tell her each time it should be kept away, forget it myself and go happily munching it all there.

Hmm I wonder what all I could find there if I opened it some day. Just like I want to remove the cushions from the back seat of cars cause I am sure there is a whole lot of itsy bitsy little treasures lost to the under side and forgotten about for ages. Who knows what will turn up?

  1. Once we (my friends & I) tried it on our sofa… the booty was spectacular… some even gave a piece of nostalgia… especially a big dry bone from some late chicken’s leg !

  3. Now that you brought up the topic, this might be the right time to spoil your fun filled breakfasts, lunches and dinners near your computer. Read this
    Also do a google search for keyboard germs etc and you will find tonnes of interesting (grossly) stuff.

  8. haha u already have so many funny n informative comments on this.. just thought of adding one more to it. A friend of mine had some problem with her laptop keyboard and she went to a service centre to get it fixed. And they charged her some x Rs – I don’t know how much. But then she said she could have bought some 2 -3 new keyboards with that money. That she could have done for a desktop, not for a laptop! I don’t know how they fix it for a laptop. Anyways! Hope it’s working now. Apparently the problem was a whole ‘Ant Kingdom’ lived beneath the keys! I really doubt if that service centre people made up some story to grab money! I mean is it possible for the ants to live in there?! I have seen two or three ants getting inside my keyboard, but I have never seen one going out! Hmm!

    @Arian! Thats it! The century old Captain Haddock mystery line is solved now. What amazing detection skills!

    @Srijith, mm err uff – me-trying-to-understand-the-comment. That a laugh?

    @rose, wow. But I could believe that story. I imagine there could be things far worse than an ant kingdom burtied under all those keys!
