Story of a lost journalist

Memed! Tagged!

This is a first time for me – getting tagged. Or probably the tags before this went unnoticed. And in my tagger’s words, the word is “memed”. This is the tagger blog entry that did the criminal act.

I am to do 2 things, according to my memer.
Part 1: The meme is now on posting 5 blogs you read on almost a daily basis
And the inevitable second part.
Part 2: Passing on the tag to 5 different bloggers

On June 5th, when he wrote the entry, if I tried to do this, I wouldn’t have been able to do a good job, my daily blog reading quite limited.
Today I am a blog hunter! (Ok I am also a pathetic exaggerator!)
And while I am still searching for new interesting blogs everyday, few have caught my interest which I keep in check daily. Too bad I could list only 5. Here goes.

Part 1

1. GL’s Blog: She is not a daily blogger but she does a decent job. Established writer, getting her first book out, her blog posts are a mixture of her thoughts and obvious reactions to everyday incidents that make her think (I am tempted to add a lame joke here, but resisting it. GL you owe me one :D). Though primarily a poet, I like her simple jottings more; because they come straightforward and direct from her momentary reflections (and because the poems are beyond my understanding)!

2. The Dilbert Blog: Well not everyday he amuses me, that’s only because I can’t follow some of the political topics. But well I don’t need to give a lot of introduction here. It is Scott Adams we are talking about!

3. Pareltank: I know this person only through her blogs and one I started reading only quite recently. She has a thing for humor and she can make simple deals sound quite interesting. I just go there because of the way she writes; it doesn’t matter what the topic is.

4. Paul’s blog: I only started reading Paul’s blog recently. I like the way he writes the posts. Not too long ones, and he obviously knows what he is talking about!

5. Musings of a Wandering Mind: Another blog I started reading quite recently. I fall for humor every time. So this again tops my daily blogs to read the amusing musings of the wandering mind.

I have a lot more in my list, but I just gave the 5 who are more regular bloggers than others.

Now Part 2. Passing on the baton.

1. Minking Than: One of the few regular blog readers I have! Hope I don’t drive him away with this! And yes, I make daily visits to his blog too

2. GL: Sorry GL! But I had to keep you in both lists! I know you’d love to do this 😀

3. Nithin: Another regular blog reader. He is a great blogger and a great artist, but not quite regular. Nithin, now you have a topic :D. You can thank me later!

4. Anu: A niece of mine in a complex kind of way! She’s not quite a regular blogger but she’s got the writer’s blood running in her veins, right dear ;-)? Now don’t you dare call me Ammayi (Mallu for very old aunty)!

5. Adi: Little kid of 12, who has just started the blogging business recently. Thought this will be a boost. Hope he shares my thoughts!

That’s it! My good deed for the day done. What a peaceful world!
And thank you Oh Mighty Memer!

  2. Uh Oh, Now I have to find 5 blogs to read regularly and then figure out what they blog about and then find out 5 of my regular readers who blog regularly. Very difficult. The baton probably will have stop here. Let me try it anyway.

  5. @Indu, I did by now. But I see you have not started working on it!
@Minking Than, I thought blog reading came to you like sleep did to me 😀
@Srijith, I missed the first time it was out 😀
@Renji, thanks! I owe you for making me famous 🙂

  6. Pareltank: is someone who caught my attention by her comments in your blog, even her comments where genuine and worth reading. May Her Soul Rest in Peace

About ‘The Story of a Lost Journalist ‘:She also has a thing for humor and she can make simple deals sound quite interesting. One reason I go there is because of the way she writes; it doesn’t matter what the topic is her writing style makes it worth reading and remembering. I love Reading this Blog for more than one reason.
