Girls ‘n Boys

Filed under: Just talking — Cris @ 22:13

Boy likes video games, girl detests it.

Logic: Boy likes action movies, girl likes comedy/romance.

Reason: Girl can’t stand violence, blood splashes

No idea.

Time for analysis

Person: Me

Gender: Girl

Like Video Games? Yeah

Like Action Movies? Not much

Like violence, blood splashes? Nope

Person: A mate of mine

Gender: Boy

Like Video Games? Yeah yeah (trying to wag an invisible tail and putting his tongue out)

Like Action Movies? Oh yeah yeah (doing the same action above)

Like violence, blood splashes? Errr not much (trying to cover his face in his hands)

Inference: I am a weird girl. My mate is a weird boy.

No idea.

Time for more analysis

Mate: Hey Me you like cricket?

Me: Ah it’s alright I guess

Mate: It was the IPL final today

Me: Oh

(Me assumes its some kind of a pre-final before the actual finals for some weird reason and refrain from asking even who won the match).

Mate banged head on the wall

Me: So Mate, Adam Sandler or Van Damme?

Mate: Neither

Me: Then?

Mate: De Caprio

Me did a 180 degree mouth open

I should mention here, expected Mate-hero would’ve been in the likes of well anti-De Caprios.

I have always hated generalizations. So when I meet a girl who plays ice hockey or a guy who reads Danielle Steel, I am a happy person. Don’t know what that makes me now!

  6. Great video. But I feel it incomplete. After that women kicked him, he should have hit her on her back. Then on video games, I have a different experience. At the initial stages of my work here I had hardly any thing to do. Nobody will ask if I don’t do anything for a month(the “progress(?) report” has to be submitted, else don’t get money). Then I played Age of empires, Rise of Nations and Flight simulator. The first two was really an inspiration to study history and my knowledge in history increased many folds. Then Flight simulator taught me many technicalities of aviation and the history from Kitty hawk to latest Sukhoi Su-47.

  9. @suresh, by default my blog places all comments from a new email id in the moderation queue 🙂 You probably used a different email-id from last time.
