A wedding trip

Filed under: Just talking — Cris @ 18:01

Today’s was a major trip. And before I proceed, let me take a moment to express the excitement of going to the outside world everyday – Wooooopeeeeee.

Ok now I can talk peacefully. So the major-ness of the trip was in the fact that it was to a wedding. Now me – I am very decisive. It takes me as little as a second to take a decision. I also make a new decision the next second; the problems of being too decisive. So today morning at 9 a.m., I messaged my friend Pugs I wasn’t coming to the wedding. At 9:01 a.m., I called her and told her I am coming. Hey the world depended on people like me to keep its confusion level high. Every person was born for a reason. Mine was KCA. Keeping Confusions Alive.

I was in high spirits cause my friends seeing me after a few months asked me if I don’t eat anything I look lean. My day became a happy day from that point.

It was a lovely trip. We stopped every 5 minutes of the 90-minute journey to stop passer-bys from passing by and giving them that every-traveler’s-favorite-question. “Do you know the way to Blabelomacelina?” Ok the destination could be slightly different. But the question worked on the same line. Those kind hearted road walkers directed us to our wedding. We reached a little earlier than our plan. There was still time to eat 😀

Food was good but I was full too fast. I managed to take photographs of clean plates of the others. It might come in handy later for any blackmail plan I might plot.

Well it being a wedding I guess I should talk about that a little. The bride who was my friend looked lovely in her white Sari. After the wedding she changed to a red Sari. Together the bride and groom looked like, well, bride and groom – I am not good with similes. I liked the cake cutting part. I haven’t seen that before. And then the 2 of them went to each table and talked to everyone. That was nice. It usually works the other way around. But this was the better way I felt. Seemed the perfect way to say thank-you-for-coming.

We took lot of photographs. And I hate all of mine. I lost all the happiness of the lean-look-credit I got before when I saw the pictures now. My face has added a few pounds more than what it had when I left in the morning. Treachery. That’s what my face does to me. Traitor face!

We talked all the way. Well I talked all the way. There were lots of laughs. My serious remarks about the world somehow sounded unserious to the world. Pugs told me I didn’t change one bit. I was happy about that.

What actually make you have a good time with anyone is when you don’t have to think for a minute of what to say or do. That’s when you can afford to be yourself every single second and have no trouble about it. That’s when you know you love fellow humans; that you are loved back too however impossible it may seem to be.

About the bride, sigh one more poor girl entering the dangerous horrifying terrifying world of marriage! May she be able to find peace in midst of all that horror and terror :p

  3. Nice picture. Also when considering the previous picture the author has shown, in general, the way the author put stripes on shirts\blouse is not proper. It resembles glass pieces on a bathroom ventilator.
